Hi everyone
I was just after some advice my DD who's 4 has recieved a birthday invitation. I RSVPd 2 weeks before the date stated but recieved nothing back. I also messaged the mum earlier today to ask what the child likes to play with but recieved no reply. I am new to the village and have just one other mum friend who recieved a confirmation text after she RSVPd on the last day. My DD is so excited for this birthday as she loves playing with her. I dont see mum after or before school as my husband does drop offs and we pick DD up from after school club. I'm quite nervous and dont want to just turn up. But dont want to disappoint dd by not going.
Any advice would be welcome thank you in advance xx

I probably wouldn’t expect a reply when I rsvp’d. She may have replied to the other mum as she’s friendly with her.
Ask your dd to pick out a present and get a gift receipt too. Pop along to the party as they will be expecting you. Gives you a chance to talk to some of the other parents!

I wouldn't expect a reply to an RSVP really. Certainly it wouldn't bother me to turn up at the party having not heard back. Your DD was invited, your RSVPd in plenty of time, it's fine to just turn up, that's what they're expecting.

Thank you I just dont want to be a nuisance. She doesnt know the other mum either as she is a newbie too. I also dont want to be hounding her with messages. It's my only child so childrens parties are new to us and we recieved a reply to the RSVP from the other parties she has attended.
Thank you x
