Murder mystery party for a ten year old

My daughter is turning ten soon and loves murder mysteries so we want to do a nursery mystery party. Ideally I'd like to hire someone to run it but from my google researches it doesn't look like that's an option (it looks like the drama group stage coach do this in some parts of the UK but not the midlands where we live) so I will have to run and organise it myself.
There are loads of kits available, but I just wondered if anyone had done this kind of party (or just as an activity) for their child of similar age and had any recommendations of a kit, or other tips? I reckon I'll get a couple of the more fun parents to take a character too, as a bunch of 9/10 year olds might not be able to hold it together/keep in character too well otherwise.

Very appreciative of any tips or advice!

I wanted similar for my 10 year old but she wanted more escape room style. I ended up setting it up myself which was actually really fun. The theme was finding out who had stolen the party bags and getting their phone number to ask for their location.

Sorry, I wanted to add that the theme of 'who stole the party bags' or similar might allow some kids who struggle with the character aspect to be themselves?

That's a good idea and actually she's wanted to do an escape room for a while so I could float that (as it would avoid me having to actually run it!!) 😊😊😊
She and her friends are all total drama llamas so would love the character aspect but I take your point, a couple of years ago when she had lots of boys amongst her best friends a couple of them (one on the spectrum) hated dressing up so it would have been necessary to think of something they could do and still be involved!
