Hi, DD will turn 5 in mid March.
The parties we've been to were either at home or at soft play.
Now home party is one of the last reserve options for us, anything else we could do (organise) without spending hundreds on it? Would like to invite between 7-10 kids plus their parent(s).
Would appreciate any ideas!

Craft party , paint a pot, soft play, get an entertainer, fairy party, pizza baking party, trip to zoo (parents need to go to), petting zoo brought to you, movie and pizza party. Bowling. Gyms sometimes do bouncy castle and games.

Thank you for the ideas @Jandob! Looks like it would cost around £300 and from Google search this seems an average today

Odeon has £5 ticket offers if you have one nearby. My DD has been to movie party at people’s houses recently and then they had pizza and snacks.
our local trampoline park charges £200
for 10 kids and pizza.
Do you have a farm nearby? Our local farm is £5 per kid plus party food.

Village hall and an entertainer should be cheaper than that. I've booked "Rapunzel" for my daughter's 5th birthday at the local village hall and the total cost will be about £160 (£20 for the hall, £120 for Rapunzel and £20 for food and party bags)

We went to a party at small hall, about 10 kids and it was a disco party and the DJ did some entertainment and balloon making too. The kids had a wild time!

Gymnastics party was also a good one at a local gymnastics club, party girl wasn't a member, they just host parties at weekends.

Hire hall then do your own entertainment if you don't want to be home but don't want to spend too much?

Musical statues
Sleeping lions
Pass the parcel
Dance competition
Limbo
Pick a jellybean up from a plate with no hands just mouth
(Not musical chairs they'll attack each other)
I'm sure there's loads more games if you have a google.

If doing that I would do half hour games, food and cake, then half hour games again and if they're getting bored towards the end then cut any balloons you've attached to the wall down and just throw them on the floor, and do some balloon popping with a balloon gun

Hiring halls seems to work out same/even more perhaps because we're in London

I've found kids golf park and the deal includes a choice of mains, drinks, and an hour of fun plus hour at their cafe. And it's quite affordable, they don't have min guests requirements.
