Morning all
Does anyone have any ideas for party bag fillers and where I can get them from? The majority of the kids will be between 1yr-2yrs of age. I don't want to spend too much either.Thanx

Tescos.Lots of good bits like 4 kazoos for 65pish.

Woolies.

£1 shops.

When ds1 was 1 and 2, we just put one packet of ELC crayons (£1), and a drink and a humzinger. That was plenty.

For his 3rd we decided to buy one toy and wrap it, say £2.50 worth, as opposed to kids taking home loads of crap they wont use again like old maid cards!

This yr, my Mum paid for him to have a soft play party, and they did the same there; each child chose a toy on the way out from a selection of 4 or 5 age specific ones.

The kids loved it.

For two year old party bags I gave a mini tub of playdoh and a glitter pen plus balloon and cake to take home. I think play doh and glitter pen are at least useful - I hate all the bits of party bag tat that are kicking round our house. May in future empty them straight into the bin when we get home

Playdough is good! Woolies had a great offer on a pack of party size tubs a while ago.

Multipack of plastic animals?

All kids like those annoying blower things.

I also try to get things as I see them through the year in sales etc.

Do you have a Home Bargains store near you, my sister just got party bags from there for her soon to be 3 year old, they contain a story tape, crayons and other things for 29p!! bargainus

the book people is a great place to buy multi packs of books whiich work out at about £1 each. Would work well for that age group.

My advice is don't waste your money on cheap rubbish -- at that age they won't even notice.

If you must, give a book, as goingfor3 suggests.

Or a gingerbread man or something.

Asda smartprice crayons are 12p each for a pack of 5 - red, green, blue and purple - nice quality crayons too (if you don't mind the fact it says 'smartprice' on them!). They're going in dd's partybags!

www.FunPartySupplies.co.uk - been using them for years - they do some great bits for younger children and pre-filled party bags - just brought some fab In The Night garden and Peppa Pig bags for my nieces birthday party, came really quickly

second Book People - at my parties you usually get a book, a choc bar, a balloon, a bit of cake and one "toy" (DS2's knight party this year it is a knight fridge magnet).

Books these are good

no that link went wrong: this I meant

We got our 2yr olds DD's stuff from here
Wooden whistles, wooden spinning tops, little pads etc for 20-30p.
We also got fabric bags and crayons and the kids drew on teh bags as they arrived, and got to take their artwork home as their party bag. Was a great success as everyone wanted the website address!
