I have been roped in at the last minute to help with friends hen night, sorry dont have enough time to trawl through previous threads, so I thought I would ask what were your best/worst bits. I didnt have one as I was 6 months pregnant so I am no use. Cheers

We went to a all-inclusive nightclub last weekend. £60 for a meal, a coach (it was about 20 miles away) cabaret and dancing until 1am.

We all had a very good night and there was no problem or arguements over the bill.

Check out the top on my profile. we all wore one.

Depends how old you all are

Best one I went on was a day in a spa (mini makeovers for all, posher treatments for bride) followed by dinner & nightclub

if you can get away with an all inclusive one like margo says it saves so much bother.

I did one for my sis couple of weekends ago -in Cambridge.

champagen picnic
punting
dinner
dancing

sounds simple but co-ordinating everything was a bit of a sod. Best if it is a place you know or oyu know someone who knows IYSWIM

I went on one a few years ago that was great fun. Medieval meal and entertainment followed by dancing.
We all dressed up and had an absolute ball, and everything was included, so no faffing around woth bills etc.

For my hennight we had a brilliant time. My friends hired a minibus and we drove down to Devon for the weekend to trawl our old University haunts ... and had facials etc etc. Girly time in B&B getting ready with bottles of champagne, out for lovely dinner then on to Exeter nightspots to boogie the night away.
Got trashed, as you do ... somehow I came back to the B&B without my knickers. I think it was dare or something - honestly, I didn't do anything I shouldn't have done In fact we were all knickerless ... umm ....

giggly · 11/07/2007 23:36

Oh no ghosty are knickers a requirement? big ones ,wee ones? thanks folks that was quick, so far we are in a hotel B&B, not my choice, in the Borders, with a spa package and going out for a meal at night, we are all about 40 and those that have wee ones are well up for a bit of fun. The btb is an Aussie does anyone know of any Aussie traditions, apart from getting wellied of course.

I think losing your knickers is a requirement
In those days I wore bits of string ... not the corsets I wear now

I'll go and ask the aussie MN contingent what Aussie hen night traditions are ....
