Not for me, but my friend has asked me for ideas of what to put in her 11yo party bags and my mind has gone completely blank.

Any ideas

TIA

Party bags at 11y? I'm somewhat - aren't they a bit infantile? I'm pretty much anti-partybags in any case and only give a going-home present with my children: balloon, cake and a small toy usually (ball/bubbles/magic pens/etc) but have no idea what would be suitable for 11yos.

My 11 year old had a party recently and I bought a bunch of white roses and she gave one to each friend with a peice of birthday cake as they left. Seemed to go down well.

not sure 11yo boys would like a rose TBH.

How about just buying them all a book - the red house and book people websites have nice sets for older readers.

Have to say tho party bags for 11yos seems a bit surprising.

I've never heard of 11 year olds with party bags. If they're going to play golf or do another 'activity' then they don't really need party bags. My ds is 10 and hasn't recieved or given party bags since he was about 6! Not necessary in my opinion

when my son was 10 we had a party for 55 children and did a football party bag for everybody girls and boys
inside was a football pen, pencil, notepad, rubber, pencil sharper, football chocs, and a piece of football birthday cake

Don't think I'd bother tbh.

Just seen this so probably too late now but
a) they are getting to the age where they don't need party bags BUT 11 is last bd in primary, so a good time to make it the last one
b)could just do sweets, but some people don't like that
c) for DS's 11th, I did cartridge pens (luckily 2 for 1 in Partners at the time!); propelling pencils; and a note book. Was just before they left yr 6 for grammar school, and went down very well with both boys and girls. With a bar of chocolate, came in arond £1.20 each.
