Thinking of having a Halloween party. Any ideas for cheap, easy, mess free games that have worked for you please? Children aged 2-4/5. So far we have
Trick and treating
Apple bobbing
Musical statues to Halloween music
Possibly Halloween type dvd- suggestions?
Hitting balloons on a string to break which are filled with Halloween scary things/sweets
Halloween food.
Possibly- pumpkin carving- maybe too messy, dangerous?

Pin the bow tie on mr skeleton or pin the spider on the web.
I've seen a bowling type game with plastic cups with drawn on ghost faces.

I tie ring donuts to the washing line with long lengths of string, they have to eat them without using their hands.

Another easy one is teams of two, roll of toilet rolls and a race to make them in to mummies.

A Halloween version of duck duck goose. Zombie zombie bat?!!
Halloween version of sleeping lions - dead bodies in the graveyard perhaps?
A treasure hunt with little Halloween chocolates.

Thanks for ideas. Like donut and plastic cup ideas. Got a list of 20 people including adults. Bit worried it will get bit rowdy though. Boys all seem into wrestling and go bit wild.
Would you do trick and treating first? Then games or other way round. Thinking arrive 4.30, gAmes, 5-5.30 food, trick and treating by 6 or too early? Then games or film until bed?

We used to have lucky dip, big bucket filled with cow feed (farming people) but you could use anything obviously and fill it with stationery etc. Apple pies with money and a ring hidden inside.
What about a night walk?
