can't do the normal sandwiches, pizza, sausages, fish fingers, nuggets etc because of gluten and dairy allergy.

would also have bowls of carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, cherry tomatoes, pepper slices, grapes, strawberries.

then special homemade birthday cake for pudding.

Is this a child's party?

Chips are fine. My kids would find gammon a bit weird. Maybe chicken drumsticks instead?
What about serving gluten free sandwiches for everyone if you don't want to cater for different allergies?

If it's kids would suggest sausages or burgers as a more child friendly option?

Gluten free bread isn't very nice though. what about rice cakes or crispbreads with spread of some sort and a slice of meat on? would kids eat that?

I could do hard boiled eggs too.

Sorry I know it's a bit of a generalisation but kids under 10 = pizza burgers chicken nuggets sausages and chips. Rice cakes cucumber etc might feed some but unless they are under 3 I would expect the majority to be left untouched. Sorry

My DS wouldn't eat that, he doesn't eat potatoes, ham, sausages, burgers, nuggets etc). He'd eat the peppers, cucumber, ricecakes and fruit quite happily though. And he is unusual, I'd say sausage and chips would keep the majority happy.

Ricecakes will go soggy if you put any spread on them in advance.

My dc follow a pork free diet for religious reasons but can eat chicken wings, drum sticks etc. Would chicken without the coating work for you?

yes was planning on doing drumsticks but wanted another option for those that don't eat chicken.
