Disposable Serving Platters and wine glasses

We're having DS1's party in a few weeks in one of these indoor playcentre places, where we provide the food and booze. I need plates to serve the stuff on, and wine glasses to keep the grown-ups sane! We have loads of good stuff but to be honest I can't be bothered trying not to break it, so I figure getting either really cheap ones or disposable ones is the easiest solution - anyone know anywhere doing super cheap deals at the mo?

pound shops, TESCO etc.

Supermarkets hire wine glasses for a small charge.

Bit more env friendly than plastic ones - might save you ££ as well?

Cover your existing trays in foil and use those, won't cost a penny!

(well ok maybe a penny)

Asda has a cheap picnic range.

Get foil serving platters from pound shop, i've still got some from DD's christening 3 years ago that are going strong.

Thanks girls - nice to see we're all having a lie-in . Ah, remember the days when the weekend was actually different from the rest of the week!!!

oh yes i've been up for hours as dd's chickenpox itch woke her early

Luckily she is now glued to Lazytown so I may have a snooze on the sofa/..

aah - the dreaded pox. Hope she's not in too much discomfort (and glad to see I'm not the only one who snoozes while the telly amuses little one!)
