Wanting some good ideas for cool party bag presents up to about £2.00. Thinking of putty or dinosaur eggs. Any other ideas?

lego/footballer type minifigures

star wars pods

football themed pens/pads/pencils etc (tesco do a big bag by the party bags)

bouncy balls/small balls

putty or dino eggs are a good idea

Poundland had those blocks that you chip and chisel at to get the toy out

Is 8 too old for Angry Birds bits? They have lots in Home Bargains at the moment and in B&M Bargains they often have great toys/figures, etc, which could be broken up for party bags.

Bouncy balls or hackey sacks for sure.

alien eggs
lego mini figs
bouncy eye ball
marbles
code/ secret writing stuff.

any of those could cost about 2 quid ish.

If you want multiple cheap things to add up to about 2 quid... my 7 year old is currently lusting after ( from yellow moon catalogue)
monster pencil toppers
light up caterpillars
finger lights
finger skateboards
glow in the dark wristbands
glow in the dark stickers
glow in the dark putty

By the time we got to the end of parties-requiring-party-bags with the dses, I was just putting sweets and a slice of cake in the party bags. So many party bag toys seemed cheap-looking and broke far too easily - and I certainly felt as if our house was already full enough of plastic tat - so I hoped that the other parents would welcome a bag of sweets instead. I used to go to the pound shop and buy whatever was the best value, and split it between the bags.
