More acquaintances than friends so no real tips into their life other than they have youngish children between 1-8.
Budget £30-£50 I suppose?
Thanks in advance

champagnesupernova · 05/03/2012 14:21

Sorry yes it is a couple
Blush at being needy and bumping and not actually giving who it was for..

It depends on whether you wanted to get them something to keep... otherwise, maybe a "night in" hamper given that they have a young children? Video/bubbly/cheeses/chocolates/candles?

treesprite · 07/03/2012 03:22

I like Lilo's idea.

Earrings and cuff links -maybe with similar motif on.

Vouchers for restaurant or theatre (if they have access to babysitters)

Some nice wine with book on wines.

Set of solar fairy lights for garden ( yes, rather random, but I love these!)

If all else fails you probably can't go wrong with a bottle plus vouchers for John Lewis, Debenhams or M and S and they can choose something they want.

Card with a slip of paper that reads "good for one evening of babysitting, to be taken at your convienence". If you're flush, offer voucherse as per treesprite's suggestion, too.
