6 year old party invitations question

DD in y1 having a 6th birthday party and the max no. of children allowed is 25. We were going to invite all the girls in her class plus a few more of her friends from the other y1 class. Also her brother and 2 boys from her class and their siblings as they are also friends outside school. She has in the last year been to many of the boys in her class birthdays and I'm worried now if I don't invite them they might be upset (tbh I'm more concerned with the mums being upset!). I wish I could invite them all but there's a limit at this venue and I thought it would be better to at least invite all the girls as she seems to be friends with all of them and would be hard to leave any of them out.

Grrrrrr. I hate these kids parties. We managed to avoid it for her last year but it's all she talks about now.

I would be very happy with 5 but fear I'll create ww3 in the playground. Maybe I'm over complicating things and should re think on a smaller scale.

We had a whole class party for ds in the Summer and that gave me a headache for weeks but as he was in nursery there weren't as many kids.

same as Riven here - although he can never choose between the last 2 for 1 place, so I always give in and have 1 more than I have said.

As is often posted on MN, leaving out 1 or 2 in a class seems mean, but inviting all girls and a couple of the boys is not the same (assuming there isn't just 4 boys).

It'll be fine, don't stress Smile
Let your DD enjoy her party (mine love to have a party, prefer it to a big present from Mum and Dad), she will have a great time
