Hi, tried lookin up all the previous threads listed under this new heading, but they were all blank.

So: Party for DD on sat, have bouncy castle booked but forecast says showers. Any ideas to keep them occupied in my tiny house, PLEASE!?!?

(PArty guests of mixed ages, 2 year olds, 4 year olds and a couple of 7 year olds)

How good are pinatas (not sure of spelling!!) Good idea for the older ones, but what on earth would you hang it from??

A new DVD/video, curtains drawn, popcorn and sweets cinema stylee?

Get some art and craft stuff and have that in another room so they can do cutting - maybe don't have glue but get loads of stickers so they can do stuff with those.

Would a lucky dip box go down well with the young ones?? Only prob is what to put in it that would suit all ages. Then again sweets are universally accepted!

Yes, but it wouldnt' last long.

What about getting loads of mini chocs like celebrations or miniature heros and doing a chocolate hunt round the house. Get everyone to bring them to one big basket then divide them out equally at the end?

What age is your dd? I think the problem is you've got such mixed ages. 2 year olds and 4 years old would probably enjoy something totally different to the 7 year olds.

the mummy game is also good. divide into teams and give each a loo roll. one member of each team is the mummy and the others have a couple of minutes to wrap them up in the loo roll. the team whose mummy is best wrapped wins.
