For lots of reasons dp and I do not want to go off and get married on our own.

I am not bothered by the day at all and if we had the option to get married by signing papers at a solicitors office I would .

Dp wants something more romantic. He has suggested going away for the weekend , where could we go?

It was announced in today's paper premier lodge are doing a wedding package for £199 which includes ceremony, suit for groom, dress for bride, buffet for 20 people (guess the 2 of you could just fill your boots), and 2nights dinner bed and breakfast - bargain or what? It's detailed on hotukdeals sorry can't link on iPad

Vesp, what's DP's resistance to a reg. office?

Vespasian · 18/09/2010 21:39

Lol geordie I can't see that going down very well.

Dp just thinks a registry office will be souless especially as it will just be us two, a pair of anonymous witnesses and a registrar in a big room.

They have teeny tiny rooms that you can only fit 6 people in, orate least Glasgow did

That is handy to know
