Bedroom allocation, can't agree with DH

Those with adult children living at home, is it best for them to have a tiny bedroom but also a snug/their own living room to use when friends visit? Or just a larger bedroom with no additional space that's theirs?
Our 17 year old has a tiny bedroom. DH's office is a larger room and in there we have a daybed plus his desk & equipment. When DD has friends to stay they use the office, I quite often sleep in there too if DH is snoring, and it's also used if one of us had been out late, so we don't disturb each other.
I like this set up, and think it will be better for adult children to have this additional space to use. The other room is tiny & probably won't fit the bed as well as all of DH's office stuff.
He thinks DD needs a bigger bedroom and we should make the swap.
Also she is VERY untidy and I think a bigger room will just be a bigger mess!
Any views welcome!

Ask him where he'll sleep when you kick him out for snoring as you won't have a bed to go to so he'll need to shift

How tiny is tiny?

will she be heading off to uni?

What does DD want? I don't think it's fair not to give her the bigger room just because you like to be able to sleep in there sometimes! Can't you have a sofa bed in the lounge instead?

I wouldn’t swap. Sounds like it works well. She has her own room, that’s fine. It doesn’t have to be huge. If she later has a DP/kids etc and is visiting often you might want to have a bigger guest bedroom. But that is years away.
