Is there a single word for 'adult child'?

If your children are over 18 is there a single word you can use to describe them? 'Adult children' sounds clumsy and is surely an oxymoron. I feel like there must be a word for them but can't think what it is.

It doesn't matter what age they are, they are still your children. I have four children, they are all adults now, but if someone asks I tell them I have four.
My parents are in their 80's and if asked still tell people how many children they have.

In Italian, there is a difference.

Ho bambini = "I have (little) children"

Ho figli = "I have children (could be any age)"

So there's a specific word for young children but not for adult children.

@SundayMorningSon that's interesting. I suppose we have similar single words in English to describe different stages of childhood - toddlers, tweenies, teenagers but no single word for adult children.

If I'm asked if I have children, I say that I have 2 daughters.

I can't flatter myself that people might think my daughters (27 and 25) might be six month old twins or something Sad
