Colour-catcher

Hi - does anyone know if it is OK to use a colour catcher in the wash when washing coloured all-in ones for the first time, or if the colour catcher might damage the nappies/waterproofing?
Thanks!

I can answer this question but I do the PR for Colour Catcher, so I'm not sure if this is within your discussion board guidelines. do let me know!

Don't know the answer to your question bu just wanted to warn that colour catchers got through the drum of my washing machine (hotpoint) and blocked the waste, sending water pouring out of the drawer. I still use them but put inside a laundry net.

Hi, Carole from BOTTLE PR again. checked with the Mumsnet moderators whether it's okay for me to post.

Just to reassure you that Colour Catcher won't tamper with waterproofing. It simply collects the loose dye in fabric and has no chemicals in it that can interfere with other aspects of fabric.

If you're washing something for the first time that has a very strong colour, it's an idea to wash it separately or with more than one Colour Catcher sheet. I hope this helps.
