Incredible sleeping baby

We've taken my 15wo swimming twice this week and both times he's fallen asleep in the pool.

Its not a problem but I wondered if anyone else has found this or knows whether it is linked to the fact he was born in a birthing pool?

The thing is that although my baby is gorgeous, he is fat. Very fat. So today the folk of Sheffield have been entertained by a baby (who appears to have his fat little bottom stuck in a rubber ring) bobbing around and snoring for 35 mins through one set of waves and twice around the rapids.

Ah bless. I started taking my DD to a swimming class when she was 8 weeks and she'd quite often fall asleep. Funnily enough she was almost born in a birthing pool, maybe you're on to something!

bless! don't worry about him being fat, my oldest was nicknamed Jabba Hut as a baby as she was so fat! She's now 10m & a beanpole & I wish she'd put weight on!!

Your post made me chuckle! Bless him!

Do you think it's because he's so relaxed in the swimming pool, or just a bit tired when you go?

My ds was also born in a birthing pool, but he's too damn nosey to fall asleep when we're in the swimming pool

That is brilliant! I love the idea of him zooming around the rapids fast asleep!!
