Question about washing new nappies for absorbency

I have a number of new nappies and I know I need to wash them about 3 times or so to get them up to full absorbency. A couple of questions about this:

  1. do I need to let them dry in between?
  2. can I just stick them on a quick wash (30min cycle)?

Thanks!

Yes put them on a quick wash and no you dont have to dry them in between

Thanks will 3 times be sufficient? The ones I am doing now are bamboo and cotton ones, that are two parters (i.e. am only doing the nappies and boosters not wraps). I have some all in ones/pockets too and will do those separately as they are colourful!! Thank u! I love my new nappies, hope the baby gets on as well with them as I do!

I washed them a couple of times without drying in between.

Make sure you change them after a couple of hours the first few days.

3 times should be fine they will get more absorbant the more u wash and the more they get wee'd in lol. The all in ones/pockets should stop running after 1 or 2 washes or mmight not run at all, after 2 washes try wash by hand to see if colour runs, if not wash with rest of nappies
