If this too casual for a birthday party ?

Hi, my daughters going to a birthday party at an outdoor adventure park. I don't think a dress would be too practical for climbing etc. I was thinking of letting her wear the joules polo shirt and pretty denim skirt with some pink 3/4 leggins undernieth. That way it's practical and comfy. Is it smart enough for a party though?
I don't want her to look like the only one who hasn't made an efort.
What else would you suggest if this is too casual ?

I don't think anyone would give it a second thought.

Blimy, we never "dress up'' for birthday parties....but then I am talking about boys to be honest.

Within an hour they will be covered in mud and cake - no-one will care or notice. Unless you are the muppet mummy who dresses your daughter in a white frilly restrictive dress for this event

I think a polo shirt and leggings would be enough without a skirt. In fact a Joules polo shirt and leggings is what my DS will be wearing to a party at an adventure playground on Sunday.

DS doesn't dress up for parties - too much running round and fun to be had !

That's great then. I didn't want her to be the only one without a dress of some sort.
She'll definatly need the skirt as she's always having accidents and it's a bit more discrete. It would also satisfy her need to look frilly.
