dd is 10 months If she has something for e.g my mobile phone that she is not allowed I go over take it off her. She screams she holds on to something bobbing up and down. I offer a different toy she screams louder and hits the toy. I pick her up and try to distract she is having none of it and screams louder, she even catches her breath.

DS was 18 months before the tantrums started surely she is to young what do I do with this behavior.

Not too young I don't think, sorry! Dd2 started doing the screaming when being put into a buggy at around this time. Think it didn't start with dd1 until well after 1. There's not much you can do apart from lots of cuddles to help them deal with the frustration, if distraction doesn't work.

Not too young to know what she wants and screaming is the only way of telling you.

Oh, and also prevention - don't leave stuff you don't want her to play with lying around!

Not too young, although you can't do more than distract or ignore or cuddle. (DD started around this age.)

Thanks ladies I though I was going insane, it seemed like a tantrum. Unfortunately not leaving things where she can get them is a bit hard with a toddler leaving his things everywhere, Also II pick her up to feed her sit in my chair and the house phone is plugged in.

I guess I shall just muddle through the best I can.
