Nappy bin recs?

Does anyone have recommendations for a good nappy bin which is effective and reasonably priced (and hopefully uses regular bin liners?)

(And which stores may have the best price?)

Thanks!

Don't use one. They make the room smell.

Just get a bucket with a lid, if you really want one, and use supermarket carrier bags as liners. You can get a bucket from a pound shop!

Im presuming you are wanting it for disposable nappies? If you are wanting a nappy bin which uses regular liners and keeps smells in why not try a nappy bucket with lockable lid and a scented bin liner inside?

Most nappy bins for diposables have their own liners and are expensive to replace. Scented bin liners can be picked up from supermarket or pound shop. As for the bucket i use a tots bots one with lockable lid for my washable nappies and i never have any smells coming out. Hope this helps

You could try a home brew bucket with lid?

We got an angelcare for our disposibles and I can really recommend it. We got it free with a bounty voucher, and the cartridges are £11 for 3 from Argos and Boots.

We only use it for pooey nappies - wet ones dont smell so much so go straight in the bin, dirty ones in the nappybin. It has a hinge on it, and the smell doesnt escape at all. I have it next to the changing unit in DS's room and it doesnt smell at all - its very easy to use and change, and by only putting pooey nappies in I dont go through many cartridges.

Another recommendation for Angelcare.

Also got it free with Bounty voucher and buy the refills with Boots points or Nectar points in Argos so never feel that I'm actually 'buying' them!

We use washables for half the week and disposables overnight so the cartridges last a while.

Totally pong free even though not in use everyday and really easy to keep clean.

My sister has a Tommee Tippee one which is rubbish.

We just use an ordainary pedal bin (think it's a 10ltr one), empty every other day and swish round with bleach once a week. Does the trick, spend the saved money on wine.
