Morning all, some of your sage advice please...
DD is 10 weeks old now and has been sleeping on her tummy since she was 5 days old as she is a very windy baby. She sleeps well, 7-12, 12.30-3.30, 3.30-6ish and I know I am blessed! My problem is that my windy baby has learnt to pass her own wind pretty well but makes the most incredible grunty squirmy sounds in her sleep for between half an hour and an hour before she wakes up. She is happily oblivious to them but dh and I lie awake listening to them and waiting for her to wake up properly. This is starting to get a bit knackering and is turning her great little sleep routine into something a bit more tiring. Her nursery is right next to our room and the cot is against the same wall as our bed. She takes some of her daytime naps in her crib on top of the cot and I was thinking of maybe putting her in there to sleep at night to preserve our sanity. She is our first baby and I've had the 6 month rule drilled into my head, and I already feel a bit guilty about the tummy sleeping. Have any mums out there done the same?

Mine were in their own room from day 1.

I was in a very similar situation to you. DS went into his own room at 9 weeks. We all slept a lot better.

Well, you know what the guidance says....but the guidance also says no co-sleeping (and lots of people on here do that) and bf until at least 6 months (and lots of people on here for various reasons don't do that.) I followed most of the 'rules' but sharing a room thing was step too far for us as we didn't get any sleep. She went into her own room on day 5.

My DS went into his room at 14 wks as he was getting too big for his moses basket. Hes been fine since

My little girl went in her room when she was about 10 weeks old as she outgrew the moses basket as well. We all sleep a lot better as she mutters in her sleep.
