i may, and it is only a may atm, have the opportunity to do an MA...it is 1 year fulltime with 2 x 3 hour classes per week.

dcs will be at school normal school hours. i work evenings and weekends...

would i be mental to even contemplate it?

thanks

If you have enough support from DP, excellent time management skills and can really focus then it's possible- damn hard work though!
Daughter did one last year whilst working full time as a TA- she's got no DCs though... It's not the classes that are the problem, it's the hours of research and studying. Good luck.

Can you put the DCs in before and after school care at least some days?

And get a cleaner

My Dcs are 3 and 2, and I am on the last leg of my MA...just the dissertation to do this summer.

I found it okay, but I will say, if I worked in addition, there is NO WAY I would have been able to do the school work full time and keep up with the family stuff. You might have a different situation as your kids are a little older.

DH has been amazing...he is a full partner/parent in our relationship, anyway, but he did way more than his share when I've had deadlines.

Our house is a disaster, we are broke as can be, but I am bloody proud of myself, and what I can bring to my family as a result of this.

Go for it!
