How old was your child when they walked...

DD was attempting to just before her first bday, but properly walking about 2 weeks after.

DS is 13 and 1/2 months and is quite happy crawling and cruising the furniture...

my dd started walking between furniture (4 - 5 steps) a week b4 her first birthday. My cousin only just started walking a week before her second birthday as she was quite happy "bum shuffling" til then...now, at 2 and 2 weeks, she runs everywhere. (we think she was practising in secret, lol)

DD1 took absolutely ages; about 17 months I think. (She's now capable of walking several miles, at four.)

DD2...er, well, she's a second child so I didn't really register it, but I think she was about a year

ds walked exactly on his first birthday, he must be awared of it.

Ds crawled at 5mths and walked at 8.5mths'

just hoping DB waits a little longer to move about

Ds1- 9 mths was cruising since 6 mths, never crawled.
Ds2- 13 mths, crawled first (plus 6 wks premmie!)

13 months, we were on holiday, I remember it well as she was stark naked, walked out onto the terrace, did a wee followed by a poo.

Iwas starting to get a complex as everytime family phone up to see how we are. The first question at the moment is "is scott walking yet".... I just keep saying don't worry i will tell you when he does... as if I would be able to keep my gob shut....

DS is 16mo on Wed and still not walking - nearly, not quite! Doesn't seem interested in it really.

DS1 - cruised furniture from 11 months (first 'moving' he did ) but didn't walk until he was 1 week short of 18 months,

DS2 - walked at 10 months.

MY BABY STARTED WALKING TWO WEEKS AGO AT 13 MONTHS. That was not meant to be in caps BTW. She is now a toddler and it is quite strange cos she crawled for so long. I could go on but won't!

dd1 - 14 months
dd2 - 15 months

both too busy talking to walk!!

Dd1 never got the hang of crawling either - or bottom shuffling, although she did stand on her own (holding on to furniture) from being about 10 months.
