How do you regulate it? ie how much time can your dc have on it, is it limited?
and how many games do they have?
and how old?

thank you in advance,

Ds1 is 7, I regulate it by taking it away when i feel he's had enough, or that he should be doing something else, or that it's causing fights (he and his little brother often sit together with it)

he has 5 games.

I guess once the novelty wears off and they realise it's a long time until xmas when new games will appear they lose a bit of interest

none on a school night

unlimited at weekends as long as homework finished and as we're out a lot this means minimal

do you let them watch tv on a school night?
I was thinking it could be an either/or sort of thing

dds are 9 and 7. I gave up trying to keep a track and tot up how long they get so the ds gets charged on sundays and if it runs out of charge before that - tough
