Female superheroes

Not sure if this fits in parenting, but here goes:

Dd1 (5) has been invited to a superheroes party next month. She wants to go as a girl/woman superhero, but the only ones we can think of are Violet and Elastagirl from the Incredibles. Superbaby is a possibility - not sure if it's a female or male baby though

Are there any other female superheroes that spring to mind? She looked at me daft when I said there was a character called wonderwoman....

I've just googled female superheroes and there's a whole long list! I think we're going for batgirl or elastigirl. Thanks for the ideas.
