Hi
I have a 7.5m old and we were thinking of trying a Gymboree class. He can sit, roll etc really well but not yet crawling (though it doesn't look like it will be long... )
Just wondering if the Gymcrawlers class is suitable for v active babies that aren't yet crawling?
Thanks for your help! xxx

It is a termly payment which I thought was a bit too expensive. If we had signed up we would have lost the whole amount this month thanks to norovirus.
Other than that, we enjoyed the taster but felt we could get the same social participation experience from other pay weekly local groups. There are loads in my area so I can be out 4 times a week at nursery rhyme, action kids etc.

My DS (19 months) goes and has been since he was 4 months. The first few months were probably a bit of a waste of money as he was too small to enjoy it properly but since he's been crawling and now walking/running/climbing he absolutely loves it and is worth every penny in my opinion. It's quite good value too I think as they do an 'open gym' at certain times every day and also a drop-in Saturday morning class but not sure if this is the same nationwide. I'm sure he'll love it!

I love gymboree, ours is a monthly payment, not termly. It does depend on the teacher and others in the class--definitely go along for the taster class. I think DD1 started around 7 mos and she loved it!

My ds is 11.5mo and we've been going to gymcrawlers for about a month. We did a taster before he could crawl and I decided it wasn't right for him then because all the others could crawl/stand and there wasn't much he could do but once he started crawling then it is good as he gets to practice crawling over different equipment (tunnels, bridges, slides etc) than he gets at home and also he enjoys the songs etc. It is quite expensive (ours is monthly, min commitment of 3mths) but they're quite flexible with you switching days/doing catch up sessions if you miss one and you can also go to the open gym sessions for free.

DD did Gymboree from 2-4yo and loved it. She had her 3rd birthday party there too.

Prior to that she went to uimbletots from 8m to 2y. She wasn't crawling when she started but would happily cruise or "walk" holding my hand. So she still got loads out of it.

There was no Gymboree locally at that time else we'd have chosen there instead.

DD was a Gymboree baby. She (and I) LOVED it!
