I liked tescos own Baby Essentials because they seemed softer than any of the others. Pampers and Huggies seemed very harsh in texture and are, on closer research made of shredded plastic.

Sainbury's own were soft but the absorbent padding was uneven which meant that they tended to leak.

I didn't try any other supermarket own brands.

None of them!! But then I'm a cloth nappy fan. Disposable nappies are filled wih gel and chemicals, made from paper and plastic and are unbreathable. They have flimsy elastic at the legs which lead to more poo leaks, and most of them have no elastic around teh back which lead to leaks up teh back. They are hellishly expensive. Give me a soft cloth nappy any day!!

I agree with nappyshed they are just awful, full of chemicals that have been proven to reduce fertility in boys and activate cancerous cells in girls. Who would let their child sit in these kind of chemicals all day??
