I have taken to carrying DD (6 months) round in a sling as she is very unsettled and doesn't want to be put down (fab idea by the way that I got from a wise mumsnetter!)

So far today I have,

Wee'd on her foot! not easy to go to the loo with a baby in a carrier

Dropped cornflakes in her hair

AND.. I just bent down to get some laundry out of the washing machine and I cracked her head on the work top!!

And its not even 10 o'clock!!!

No, you'll have to try harder than that. Perhaps a helmet wouldn't go amiss though. And waterproof shoes.

Think I have an old cycle helmet somewhere!

LOL- I'm a Close baby sling Mum and I peed on my son's foot too. Oh yes,and got digestive crumbs in his hair, but hey, at least they're not lonely!

When DD was in the Close she frequently had bits of my breakfast and lunch on her head. Cornflakes and toasted sandwich remnants were often found....

I was clearly far more careful to get her feet out of the way before starting to wee But then maybe I did wee on her and never notice?

6 months was when I stopped using the Close and moved onto a Bjorn, rapidly followed by an Ergo when my shoulders threatened to die in the Bjorn..... I would lean down to empty the dishwasher and her head would flail out of the sling and into the dishwasher door Not the fault of the Close, just an over-curious DD!

I got a variety of foods on his head when carrying him in the close!

You're not even close to the worst mummy. You need to up your game.

I hit my DS in the face this morning with my shoe and gave him a nose bleed. (Obv by accident and he's very prone to nose bleeds). Got to school and he told the teacher in front of every other mother I have ever met in my life that I had kicked him in the face
