Which Phil and Teds?

We're planning on getting a Phil and Teds for when DC2 arrives, DD will be just turned 2.

I was going to go for the Classic as it's the cheapest, but then I was looking at the Vibe, and it has a few advantages, like you can fold it with the double attachment on. I dunno if that justifies the extra cost though...

Those of you with Phil and Teds, what model do you have? Is the Vibe the best one? What's different about the Sport?! Their website is pretty crap for comparing the pros and cons of each one. We'll have this pushchair for a long time so I don't mind spending more if it's worth it.

I have the classic . i bought it when dc2 was born 3 years ago. it's fine but the most annoying thing about it was that you had to take off the little seat to fold it. I'd do some research into resale values if i were you.

when my pushchair broke i was loaned a phil & teds sport for over a month by babies r us, i thought it was bloody awful i trapped my fingers in it folding it down lol (how i dont know) it didnt push right it was unstable in all that snow we had and was so unsaportive for my lo who was only 2 months at the time
i wouldnt waste my money on one tbh i know thats not what you were asking but i cant see what everyone is raving about
maybe its the nappy brain

tbh I've tried one out and don't think it's as good as our current pushchair, but then I don't want a double and wouldn't trust DD on a buggy board (she is a bit of a flight risk!) so it's kind of our only option. That's why I'm wondering if I should just splash out and get the all-singing all-dancing one!

I'm getting the vibe just because of the sheer size of it. My boys are big, vibe really IS build to take children upto the size of 5yr olds which I need (despite DS only being 3)
Vibe is lighter too.
The sport looks like a peice of in comparason m:-p
I saw a lady with a sport and the zip had ripped apart beyond repair on the toddler seat and metal bit was digging into tot's head, wtf

I love my vibe and I have a mei tai sling in the bottom, so we can cover many combinations of babies, children depending on the weather, energy levels and tempers

my classic (I think it's a classic it says E3 and is fromm 2006) has had no problems with durability, it was really heavily used for 18 months as dc are 16 months apart and is in good condition. I'm expecting dc3 and will use it as a single as it is easy to push with one hand but always with the front wheel unlocked. i bought it because at the time we had a narrow hall and also it actually fits in the boot of my citroen saxo if you take the wheels off.

I've got a Dash which has a few additional features to the Sport - padded seats, brake on the handles. I do like it was great when DS a baby but DD is just over 3 and average size and she can't get into the back really anymore. They both hate the back seat thats the problem. Think its the best but not perfect option for a 2 year gap.
