Hi, I am having my first baby in June and i am looking for some help with which reusuable nappies to buy. I have seen been looking at the mio range and the whole package deal dosen't look bad. However the reviews on mumsnet are not very good. Can anyone help me before my head explodes.

nooooooooooooo not bambino mio!

Visit Babybots or cheeks and cherries for a great breakdown of what you will need. I would recommend a mix of two parters and all in ones like fuzzi bunz, itti bitti, bambooty - not pop n gro for me. Two parters would go for lollipop or bambinex.

Motherease wraps are the best by far - Weenotions are great but very addictive! Jabula has different stuff.

if u use reuseable ones get in contact with your council children services as my little sister recieved 50 pound to get a starter kit and they tell you what shops accept it

Having tried quite a few my personal favourites are bamboo fitteds such as bambinex or tot bots with a motherease airflow wrap, or the bumgenius one size nappies. I would strongly advise don't buy a complete set until you have tried some. There is a good second hand market for nappies to so maybe buy second hand to try and sell on if they don' suit - minimal money lost that way of they are not for you. Take a look here on mumsnet classifieds for second hand nappies, or also clothnappytree, usednappies.co.uk, naturalmamas and ukparentslounge.

Don't touch bambino mio - I made a very expensive mistake when expecting #1.
