dd is 25m and dc2 due april. Dd been in cloth since 24 hours old :-) we use mostly 2 parters, cotton tots, fluffles and easy peasy. When small we had old tots wraps which weren't very good so we need new size 1 wraps. In size 2 we're using velcro motherease and we have 1 of the new tots wraps. We can't decide which of these 2 to get for dc2 - what's the general mumsnet consensus these days ?

Not tried the tots wraps but I love the motherease airflow (popper) wraps. I prefer these over the rikki wraps (velcro) ones though the rikki are not bad.

airflows top for functionality

if you are looking for a rikki (ie velcro) substitute, I found Nature Babies pretty good - better range of colours/patterns than rikkis.

New Tots wraps not bad either but do not bother with the cheap (popo / vento) ones Easy Peasy sell

Motherease rikki or popper airflow/rika are the best by miles.

I use Onelife (or may be One Life). They have poppers and I think are similar to motherease but the edging looks more comfortable to me.

I've tried a few. Found nothing better than motherease airflow. Just wish the prints were a bit more interesting

Nature Babies Classic wraps or the new one size are fantastic - all the functionality of the motherease, funky prints and a fair bit cheaper!

another vote for ME airflow. They seem bombproof. I have mostly second-hand plain ones (still going strong) but one new one with little ducks and frogs on, for 'special' . The M/L size is very useful if your toddler is on the skinny side.

we had an airflow but didn't get on with it. Where is the cheapest place to buy rikki's?

Nature babies Classics for me to as well! Love 'em and totally reliable!

octothechildherder · 10/02/2010 20:37

ebay or bebeco had a sale on for ME.

Mammamia2 · 14/02/2010 12:06

ME airflow without a doubt. But just got one of those bumgenius flips and they are a onesize wrap so another option to consider.

Tots wraps are on sale at Lollipop for £4.50 and free postage.
