Sainsburys Eco Nappies - just how 'eco' are they?

They say on the pack they are made from 60% plant matter but does that make them biodegradeable anyone know?
Thanks

That means 60% paper probably, as paper comes from trees. That means that 40% is the gel and teh plastic and the elastic, which are not biodegradable.
They are probably no more "eco" than Pampers!
And if they go into landfill they wouldn't really break down anyway.

Also be warned about the nappies that say X% biodegradable - that is often of a used nappy and includes the contents.

I was a bit that their Eco wipes don't even come in recyclable packaging! Fail to see anything eco about them!
