Washable pull-ups?

So we did 6 weeks of cold turkey potty training DS (3 1/2). Results: a lot of pee on the floor and a lot of extra laundry. We were away over christmas so put him in disposable pull-ups to save relatives carpets. This was great as we all relaxed and he's started (very occasionally) volunteering that he needs to go. So pull-ups is definitely the way to go, and I think it's going to be a longish process, so I'm wondering whether it's worth buying some washable pull-ups (I hate making all this landfill). Especially as DS2 could use them when the time comes.

But I don't like all-in-one type nappies because they take forever to dry. We don't have a tumble drier and our house is quite cold so things take ages to dry (we use microfibre nappies). Are all washable pull-ups all-in-one types? The ones I've seen seem to be. Are there any stuffable pockets or similar? Or microfibre ones? And how absorbent are they? He's only needing 2 pull-ups a day, even if he does no pees in the potty (which is the same no of changes as we used to do with Fluffles). Can I be that slack/cheapskate with washable pull-ups? I don't want to spend loads of money.

any advice/opinions very welcome (including, don't buy washable pull-ups - I'm not at all sure that I'm going to).

Nappies by Minki do pull-ons called Yoyos that are stuffable.

Pocketbots do stuffable training pants too.
