Tried using a cloth at night last night, and thankfully ds didn't wake up and slept through.

But he had leaked by morning. Had used a fleece pocket nappy with folded up terry inside anything I can add to furhter soak up any wee.lol.

It seemed enoprmous as it was, which dh kept saying he wouldn't sleep, would be wet in the morning. Any suggestions. I'd like to prove to dh that cloth will work at night.

they are cute!!!

really wanted to go a ted unisex so next baby can wear them, but the pinks and flowers are too cute.... will ask DH nicely....

flowerfairy · 02/07/2005 10:11

you're all mad.lol.

anyway back to my original dilemma of nightime nappies!

last night i used a terry with small prefold and hey presto no leaks this morning. Though dh not particularly pleased at sight of ds with an enormous blue bottom and he said struggling to walk.

dh not very supportive of nightime cloth use.

flowerfairy - at least they don't walk in their sleep....and sorry your dh isn't more supportive. Glad to hear he was dry though!
I"m still using disposables at nighttime - but need to get my act together I think, dd is 6 months. Wanted to say that my nappies from Wee Notions have arrived and they are gorgeous!! Already had a try on session with dd, it's just a shame they have to be covered up with a wrap ( but am waiting for some funky wraps to arrive from Kittykins any day now.....)
I am sad!

starlover · 05/07/2005 14:16

sorry... didn't check back on this thread.

erm, haven't stuffed mine yet... it's fine as it is... really, really absorbant because the outer is microterry fleece stuff!

i would imagine that you wou;dn't need a bigger wrap though. depends what size you already have!

gosh, i should get commision from wee notions now shouldn't i!!!

starlover · 05/07/2005 14:17

hana... what funky wraps have you ordered?

hana · 05/07/2005 19:16

ordered a polkadot one and a turquoise tiedye one ( nature babies? can't remember who makes them) with all the poppers. don't think the site had velcro so I'll just see how I get on with poppers. maybe tomorrow!! now the weather has to improve so I can show them off!!

hana · 05/07/2005 19:19

starlover - meant to ask are you using it at night?(the wee notions nappy) I have one unbleached totsbots that I use every now and then but want to stop using disposables completely at night -
and yes you should be on commission, they have a few more sales now!

starlover · 05/07/2005 19:29

oh i love my nature babies wrap! really fab... nice soft (almost rubbery) inside... poppers are fine.

yes, we use the wee notions at night and it's been great

flowerfairy · 05/07/2005 19:44

Thanks am still waiting for my weenotions. I agree about the commission starlover.

Though have had to go back to disposables tonight as my nighttime ones weren't dry. Blooming English summer weather.

Will have to look at nature baby wraps again had a couple before I used with prefolds that I liked. Which site for these?

good luck hana when you convert.
