Ok was talking to my neighbour and she mentioned that she did Gina Ford when her dd was 4 months as she was still waking 4-5 times. She was breastfeeding.

I am FF my ds and thought I might give it a go. I never thought I would! But so desperate for som sleep! What I would give for at least 4 hours!!

Anyway reading the book I can only find a routine for breastfed babies. My ds is 11 weeks, so is it the same routine for FF babies?

Yes, I would wake him up at 7am, and offer him a feed between 7am and 8am. If he refuses or takes only an ounce or two, then offer him a couple of ounces prior to his morning nap. As he will probably not have taken a full feed, he will be hungry around 10am, so at this stage I would feed him and not try to string him out any longer than 10am. Also it is important to offer him a top-up feed prior to the LTN, if he refuses and then wakes up at 1pm, then offer him a feed then, with a top-up at 2.30pm. This week may feel like you are doing lots of split feeds and naps, but it should help get some sort of a routine going, which helps him sleep longer in the night.

I turned to GF when DS was about 5 months because I wanted to see if I could get him to wake up a bit later in the morning. He was otherwise fine and happy during the day. Turns out he was following her routine anyway - just an hour earlier!

I know that doesn't really help you OP, but I thought if anyone was lurking on this thread and having doubts, it just served to reinforce to me that her routines really do reflect the baby's natural rhythm.
