Educational DVDs and computer games in French

To all parents of billingual french children not living in France: Where do you find educational DVDs and computer games in French, fun things to do so the children get a little bit of practise?
Which ones do your children like in particular?
Do they watch some French TV online?

Would like to know this, too. How old are your child(ren)?

I don't use "educational" DVDs. I just use DVDs and let the education happen.

I mainly get them from amazon.fr.

On one of these DVDs there is a trailer for an educational DVD from Universal including something with Kirikou.

If you mean less explicit, "softlt softly" educational things, we do watch "les Cotoons" and "5 Rue Sesame" (both from amazon) and "L'ile aux enfants" (picked up 2nd hand in Lille).

How old are children?

Also, if your child is young enough, Baby Einstein (the wife bought it, not me) has a French and also a Spanish soundtrack as standard.

We also don't use 'educational' DVDs. DD is 3 and at that age you have to look quite hard to find something that isn't educational. We watch Tchoupi and Petit Ours Brun a lot (from Amazon, FNAC or trips to France. If you can find a title you like, you can often find episodes on You Tube. That's why I asked about age.

I have also seen that there is something educational featuring Kirikou, but then Kirikou is pretty educational in itself. DD has learn how pots are made, how to grow vegetables, how to channel water and how to ride on Papa's head and pretend he is a giraffe.

Hi, look at the website www.poissonrouge.com - a brilliant site with lots of games in French, and a vocab/pronounciation section (click on the castle with the French flag). My daughter loves it, and she's not even learning French!
