2 year old getting his shoulders out of car seat!

Help! My lovely 2 year old is cheekily getting his shoulders out of the straps of his car seat. It's taking me forever to get anywhere, as I have to keep stopping and putting him back in (which as you can imagine he finds hilarious!)

I've seen in one of those baby catalogues a velcro strap to put the two straps together...but can I find the darned thing?! Does anyone know where I can buy one and have experience of using one?

Or any other suggestions???

Desi I was wondering that.

Maybe someone who left under a cloud or namechanged for a stalker and had old messages deleted?

Was just about to tell CarlK that the cable tie thing doesn't work the thought hang on, is CarlK back and realised this is a very old thread. However it is very relevant as my two year old is also a houdini.

Does anyone one know if the snug sit or any similar device is still on the market? I,m at the end of the road litterally with having to keep stopping the car to put arms back in the car seat!!!!!

Snugsit and Hug-It are no longer sold

Try Houdini Stop

The houdini stop is a chest strap that can be put on and removed with one hand.

Its a strap that clips on to each car seat strap and stops the child getting their arms out

www.houdinistop.co.uk

Its been crash tested and approved by an australian board who review car safety accessories.

they sell them in the UK at Houdini Stop - Car seat chest strap

The law states its not illegal to attach these to car seats, its simply not legal for a company in the EU to sell one with such a device attached
