Can you still get Nit stuff on prescription?

I've just spent £20 on Hedrin and just read old posts saying it's on prescription.

Will use it quite liberally if that's the case and get it on prescription for next weeks dose

Do you get a choice,would prefer Hedrin as dtwin 1 has exzema.

you're better off just using a cheapo conditioner and wet combing every other night or so. have you tried that? works for us (nit free for ages now!)

Yep tried that with a Nitty Gritty comb,we're just going round and round.

We were given derbac on prescription not long ago.

We used that, conditioner and the nitty gritty!

I am so fuffing sick of of being re-invested by bastards who don't seem to ever look at their kid's hair. How can you not see bugs crawling all over your children??!!

The chemist just said tea tree oil conditioner(which I've just stocked up on) doesn't work. He says tea tree is being pushed massively by the Australian gov as a cure all and it's actually pretty ineffective.

Wasn't that forthcoming with any other suggestions.

Just found out I could have got my Nitty Gritty comb on prescription too. So that's now £30 I could have saved. I specifically asked my gp too and he said no!!!!!!!!
