do you sit or hover? or more to the point (and possibly a bit less personal ), what do you do with your kids who are just learning?

is there an alternative?

Ther is another plastic folding square thing that is flat and goes on top, not sure how securely it would sit.

I have taught daughter not to hold onto side of seat and she will check its clean before sitting and will get me to wipe it and put paper down if it was wet or mucky looking. Its all you lot that hover that drip on the seat!!!

Hi motherp, I have a pack of anti-bac wipes in my change bag and just give the seat a wipe over and dry with tissue before putting ds on the seat. He's so used to the ritual now he won't go until it's been done.... talk about conditioning! Think he'll be relieved when he eventually starts doing it standing up (he's only 23mo now)

You should site, squatting or hovering doesn't allow the bladder to empty fully and so can increase the number of urinary infections you suffer
