Baby Car Seats That Are Easy to Use

Hello, I am new to all this. I have a freind who suffers with arthritis and she finds it impossible to get her year old baby in and out of the car seat, she usually has to ask passers by for help.

Does anyone know of a car seat that is designed to be easier to use for suffers with arthritis or any websites or organistaions that can help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, not sure if this will help, but have a look at the Axiss car seat by Maxi Cosi. It turns to the side to get baby in and out easily without having to stretch round, and also has quite an easy clasp. Try Mothercare and Halfords as they both sell them. HTH: )

Axiss in motion. It looks brilliant, if you fast forward to about 2min 15secs she shows how it turns. It turns 90 degrees and you can lift the baby out forwards instead of having to twist around the seat.

In the video it says its by Bebe Confort, but that's the old model, its now called Axiss by Maxi Cosi. I have the same one as in the vid but the newer ones are exactly the same, just come in a different range of colours and say maxi cosi on them. They are a bit pricey but they're so worth it!!

I have one of these car seats and it's a godsend - they've really come down in price as well - you can buy them online for the same price as a regular car seat now. I would'nt be able to get out and about with my baby without one.

I have ra and I found the maxi cosy tobi great the straps sprang out of the way she grew to tall and i had to get a britax isofix duo I could'nt have gone out without it and my wrists don't move that well. As soo as possible you need to teach you child how to get in them self not sure that would be that easy with one twists. It wasn't around when we were looking. The other one that might be worth looking at is by kiddy www.kiddy.de/gb/startseite it is easy to move between cars
