Dh is out with dd1, dd2 is up in the bed so just me, dd3 and 2 month old ds downstairs.

So I hear the front door go and get up to take a look. DD3 is standng on the doorstep with her little pull along cat suitcase and no shoes on.

I say "where are you going to" and she says she is going to London.

I bring her back inside and close the door and she moans at me frustratingly that she really needs to go to London.

I say "maybe later sweetheart"

AIBU to not want my 2 year old to go to London by herself, with no shoes on and no money?

awwww bless her!
take a photograph of her waving at you with her little pull along, just outside your front door.

Tell her she can go as long as she dont cross any roads, so she will just walk around the block!

Lol. I had a little suitcase as I kid and I often packed it ready to run away with my teddy, pjs and several pairs of clean pants

Put a pair of shoes on her and stick a fiver in her pocket, and let her go to London you old meanie

gosh, parents these days, they do stifle the children's need to explore their world!

Lol. I wish I had taken a photo before I got her back in.

We went to London to visit the museums in February- I honestly didn't think she would get anything out of the trip being so little (it was more for my older two). However, she hasn't really stopped gong on about it since.

London? that's not very original. My dd was going to go to the moon.

I remember my sister snuck out when she was about 3 when we asked her why she said she was going to visit granny (who lived an hours drive away)

No idea what goes through their head sometimes
