A new start for my fussy-eating 2 year old...???!!!!!

We've had real issues with our second-born - he just refuses all vegetables and a lot of fruit (despite us doing all the 'right' things and cooking most foods from scratch / avoiding too much junk etc etc). Our older child loves her food (and cooking) so our son's fussy eating came as a real surprise. I've just seen this website and wondered if anyone else has seen it or tried the classes? toddlerchef.com ??? My sister-in-law goes to one of them and raves about the effect on her two kids. Any comments or advice would be appreciated!!! Thanks.

Haven't any advice but just to let you know I am going through the same with ds who has got steadily worse since he was 2.

I often open a tin of spaghetti hoops.

Will have a look at that website.

I'm new to this site and after have read and made some comments I have come to a conclusion that most of you mumsy mums out their are not quite my cup of tea. Came across poshtottie's comments and she's one of the few who sounds normal. Without sounding rude are you all a bit mumsy, veggie, breast is best?

lovoneson, thanks you made my day.

I had ds at the doctors this morning regarding his eating. He told me not to stress about it and ds could probably live for a year on yogurt alone.

I must admit for my sanity I have lowered my standards a great deal.

BTW I think spinningplates is advertising this company.

My DD lived for about 6 months on fish fingers and plain boiled spaghetti. She was a terrible eater right from teh weaning stage. I remember DH and I dancing around Gatwick in delight when she actually ate a Happy Meal - it was that bad. Happily, since starting school and having school dinners things have improved considerably. Try not to stress. Step back from the 'but that's not healthy' route and try to see all food as giving energy. It really does help.
