Night Nappies Again

Hi, I'm currently using bumbles with a prefold and a bamboo booster as a night nappy but in the last couple of weeks we have been getting wet pj's every two or three nights. We can't get anymore in the bumbles can anyone suggest an alturnative? DD is 20 months and quite long.

I have got an Upsy Daisy Night Nappy in soy and really love it! I only have one of those and they are really slim (even with the extra night booster), but incredibly absorbent. Mine is in side snap.

I also have a few Wee Notions Night Notions, and they are incredibly absorbent too.

I use fleece wraps over them.

What about putting microfibre cloths inside the bumble and putting the prefold on the outside of it. Sometimes if you overboost you cause gaping at the legs that causes leaks and it can help to put some of the boosting between the nappy & wrap.

Thanks Crafty, the nappies are wringing wet, so they do need more absorbancy.
TCB I'll have a look at the Wee Notions.

Has anyone tried the Pop-ins as a night nappy? They have a night booster available.

Pop-ins with the dri-nite booster are great - mega absorbent (even my 2.5 yr old power peeing boy can't outwee them!)

Otherwise, if you need something a bit quicker drying then Lollipop Softees are fantastic (similar to Tots fluffle but nicer fabric IMHO)

I find a Bumble with a p'tit dessous bamboo booster for night works pretty well on my 25 month old.

And someone here recommended Baby Beehinds a few weeks ago - I bought a couple and they are very absorbant and very slim but slow to dry, but I second putting extra boosting between the nappy and the wrap, extra absorbancy without making the nappy too misshapen.

Wool wraps are supposed to be v good for very heavy wetters, I've got a couple but keep chickening out of trying them...hopefully someone else will know

I did mean increase the absorbency (but with microfibre boosters - slim & absorbent), keeping the bamboo boosters inside and move the prefold to between nappy and wrap so you've got more boosting but not all in the nappy.

And moaningminnie - wool is fab, we loved it for nights.

Sorry I miss read your message.

Well I've tried putting two bamboo boosters (as this is what we have) in the nappy and the pre-fold in the wrap and still had damp pj's. So is it worth getting micrpfibre boosters, if so which ones, or do I just try something else? I really don't want to spend money I don't have to at the moment.

I use microfibre cloths from poundland - there are 3 in a pack.

Thanks, I'll have a look next time I'm in town.
