Please talk to me about Little Lambs and Fluffles... microfibre nappies

I have been using poppered Fluffles for DD who is now 4.5 months. I am starting to look at size 2 nappies as the ones we have are just size 1.

I know fluffles have been discontinued, but I have heard Little Lambs do something similar - has anyone used them and can compare with Fluffles - they don't have a fleece liner I hear, does that make a difference? I am bearing in mind that we will eventually move from breastfed poo to solids poo in the size 2, so any comments would be appreciated!

Thanks!

PS I use Motherease wraps. I am suspicious of the flexitots but not sure why!!

pookamoo - if you still like fluffles new ones are still available on ebay

I am selling some really, really cheap but they are stained so wish I hadn't used soap flakes for a good few weeks!

How many do you have, twoclimbingboys ?
I'm really looking to get a whole batch...
How bad is the staining? I didn't know soap flakes would set the stains!

I have just received and pre-washed my trial Little Lambs microfibre and bamboo nappies. Trial kits were £9.50 each plus £1.50 p+p. They include a nappy, (with flap-out booster for size 2) and separate fleece liner and wrap each.

I haven't used them yet, although I'm hoping the bamboo will be dry enough by tonight.

The microfleece one is dry, actually dried quite quickly and is incredibly soft and fluffy! All their nappies come with a separate fleece liner so I don't know who told you they didn't! (And it is even softer than the nappy too! )

I will update you once he has tried the microfleece but compared to the other nappies in my trial kit, the little lambs is very good value and by far the fluffiest (although, to be fair, it is new!).

I think you can get a free little lambs (just for postage) next week for rnw. I'll see if I can find the link.

Personally, I couldn't live with the texture of them on my hands, but I've used their bamboo ones and they are fine for fit and containment.

pookamoo - i don't know if it set the stains but it certainly doesn't shift poop marks!!! I have been and bought non bio today and a washing line - to try and remedy it.

I have 10 fluffles (5 nippa, 5 applix) but am selling a maximum of 6. Some of the staining is pretty bad tbh

They are £2.50 each posted, or, if buying more than 3 - they are £2 each. I am just about to take photos and could e-mail them if you are interested? Don't worry if you aren't!

There are some size 2 Fluffles on the for sale board, £30 for 5 posted I think.

Have you looked at Nature Babies Micro Diddy Diapers? They are microfibre with a cotton lining, so you get a natural fabric next to the skin which is nice in the summer weather (not so hot), they dry pretty fast and are a lot less bulky than a Fluffle. Nippa fastening only. Quite cheap too.

You may find some Fluffles discounted on some of the smaller nappy websites if they have old stock to shift so worth looking around (I'm sold out).

I have 10 size 2 nippa fluffles, unwashed, unworn and still in the bag they came in.

£50 + p&p the lot or will split at £5 each + postage

Will check thread tomorrow.

I haven't tried Little Lambs but I know someone who has.

She was very happy with them until the elastication in them perished after a few months.

The nappy seller said they had come from a defective batch and replaced them but the same thing happened again.

I have some size 2 Fluffles I'll be putting up for sale elsewhere as soon as I can get my camera to behave.

Four are popper type and three are nippa type. They have been used by one baby only and have no stains. I'd want £3.50 each, if you're interested.
