Cloth swim nappies and swimming lessons?

DD starts swimming lessons in May. We have the required Happy Nappy swim nappy (thank you NCT sale). When we've been swimming before, we've used a John Lewis swim nappy (like a pair of bikini pants but with a towelling lining). Swim school literature says that they should wear a disposable swim nappy and a HN over the top. Lady on the phone was very confused when I asked whether she could wear a cloth swim nappy instead of the disposable as apparently no one has ever asked before (she kept saying "It's only half an hour, so you might as well use a disposable", which to me is a very good argument for using cloth!). Does anyone here know the answer? Many thanks

If you mean waterbabies - you aren't allowed to use a cloth. But, we do! You would just be in the bad books if there was a poop leak, as all the lessons for the day are cancelled

I think it's Aquababies, but it's more or less the same thing I think. I just wondered whether by disposable + swim nappy they just meant nappy + swim nappy iyswim - I'm assuming the swim nappy is doing the bulk of the holding-stuff-in work and the other one is just an extra layer/lining type thing.

I've bought a single disposable so guess I'll just take that to the first lesson and ask the instructor.
