Where do we go from MotherEase OneSize?

Hello. My 'normous 16 week old son - 18lbs+ and the weight and length of your average 6-8 month old - is in his MEOS on the largest settings. They're okay atm, but of room round the waist, fairly roomy round the legs, but unless he's a prodigy who potty trains by 10 months (holding my breath I am not) we're going to be needing to replace these naps by late summer. I had thought between the Diddies and these we'd be sorted for at least 18 months, but we had no idea he'd be so vast.

So, any suggestions for where we go from here? I used Sandys with DD, very happy to use again, esp with poppers, but are they good on particularly large babies/toddlers? DD was normal size! Also are they good for boys? He has (brand new!!!) medium Thirsties wraps atm and I'm using up a few old Kushies and Junior Joy wraps that just about do the job but have been through several previous owners. MotherEase wraps made DS' legs sore, as I know they do many kids', so any suggns for a popper wrap with good leg gusset for a larger kid?

Sorry for all the q's - never expected to be facing this one so soon! Gutted that second hand naps aren't selling well atm as I have all Max's hardly worn Diddies to flog

Hi, we also have this problem with my 17lb 17 week old DD. Haven't really got a solution, but hoping when she gets moving a bit more she may be less chubby and nappies may start to fit a bit better. Will be watching this with interest to see if anyone has suggestions.
We do have a few Geobel nappies which she still has lots of room in, they're now called bambineo/bambinex i think. Don't know if the nappies still come up the same size with the different name though but may be worth a try.

I have 2 boys, who are both quite large for their age. I only started with cloth nappies when DS2 was 7 months and DS1 potty trained and only in night nappies.

I know that Wonderoos doen't have the best reputation - but they are great on both of them (even overnight if I have no Wee notions Night Notions dry). I've never had any leaks at all with them (unlike my itti's). They still fit on DS1 who is in age 3 clothes. I think they are less reliable on smaller babies when they are on the smallest settings. They are really cheap pre-loved. I bought some recently that were hardly used (looked brand new) and they were £6 each posted with the pairs of microfibre inserts. I also have size 2 fluffles they fit both boys and dry really quickly but are bulky under clothes.

I can't offer any advice about alternatives, but I would say please don't start panicing yet.... you may well be surprised at how your DS slims down and elongates IYSWIM. My DD1 was as round as she was tall up until about 8 months and then she started crawling and it all changed dramatically, she became much longer and much less round. Wait and see how things pan out before spending loads of money on new nappies. DD2 (also a right little podger!) potty trained at about 22 months and at that age her MEOS did up with plenty of room on the middle setting, even though when she was around 11 months old they had been on the widest setting. DD1 still just fitted into MEOS when she was about 2.3 and weighed 15 kg (she was day trained by then but I occasionally put her in them at night)

You need a couple of pairs of these, just until he gets mobile and slims down again:
