Is it a bad thing when you are on first name terms with the A & E receptionist?

in the past 6 weeks my DS1 has split his head on the door handle in my mum's playroom.
tripped over his own feet and rolled down the driveway before landing with his face on the concrete coving neatly breaking his nose and has fallen down the stairs in my sisters house spraining his wrist.
Then last week my DS2 fell UP the stairs and landed on his chin, putting his top teeth through his bottom lip. Has fallen in the garden and split his head and yesterday managed to get tangled up in my legs and twisted my knee.

does anyone else have such an accident prone family or is this just a boy thing?

my DS1 does play rough and i do spend most of day glueing things back togethre or screwing fixings back on (he got the curtain pole last week swinging on the curtains ) my other nephews (i have 6 aged from 24 to 5) don't seem half as bad.....

Dd was extremely accident prone as a young child, ds has never been to A&E, except to keep her company. His balance is better than her.

My ds2 was like that - still is. I read somewhere that children who have accidents which they have caused (to the extent of needing A and E) before the age of 2, are 4 times more likely to have to go back to A and E than children who don't and that the pattern persists throughout their childhood.

that's ok cornsilk most of DS1 accidents happened after he turned 3. so basically what that means is that it is definately a good thing to be on first name terms with the receptionist cos i'll be spending a LOT of my time there?

Probably! My ds goes there less now, but still hurts himself. When he does go though he has really hurt himself!
