itti bitti d'lish - which size, where to buy?

OK, so I don't really NEED to buy any more nappies at all, but I have my lovely council voucher and a new baby due in 10 days, and it'd be fun to have something nice for the littlie.

DS (24m) is daytime potty trained, but we use a large itti bitti d'lish for his lunchtime nap, and MEOS overnight: both work fine. I found the ittis leaked quite a lot when he was pre-potty training, both wee and poo, and got quite depressed about them, having been used to bomb-proof MEOS.

But they're sweet... so they're still my top choice for 'extravagent' nappies for DC2. If I buy medium ones, when are they likely to fit from? (DS was 8lb at birth, and 75+th centile - this one seems a similar sort of size, perhaps a little smaller). And any advice on where to buy from? I think I have to buy new, if I want to use my voucher...

Hiya my dd4 has been in mediums since she was a couple of weeks old and she was only 7lb when she was born, i know a shop where you can get them for £10.99 i think, let me find you a link!
I love my itti's, im so sad!I even have pics of them on my facebook!

Yes definitely get mediums, bought mine from nappyparadise but beware of them being out of stock (and them not telling you for ages!)

Just a couple of weeks old, really? And there was me thinking (having just read the Green Baby blurb) that maybe smalls were better after all - says there that they should last 3-9 months!
And thanks v much for the link to nappy paradise, never come across them before - just need to find out if they'll take council vouchers though...

Yes only a few weeks old, i didn't bother with smalls, just had mediums for dd4 and large for dd3. Dp even managed to squeeze dd3 (18months) into a medium the other day I dont know how he can get so muddled, he even put her in a size 1 tots

anchovies · 16/04/2009 21:30

My average sized dd fit a large at 5 months! Just depends on how you like the rise I think as they are so low. If nappyparadise wont take your voucher, fill your pants do 2 for £24 and free delivery (and sometimes have £5 off vouchers as well).

Oh and have you seen the new prints they are launching this week, i presume we will be able to get them in the uk...

2jamsandwiches · 16/04/2009 21:41

new prints??! Where??

thanks for the pointer to fill your pants as well, as I think it looks like nappy paradise don't take the vouchers...

and if you are on fb there is an itti bitti site which shows the new d'lish prints, available from sunday.

2jamsandwiches · 16/04/2009 21:58

not on fb, and a bit muddled by the aus site - sounds like the new print ones aren't the same design as the d'lish? V sweet though... I must go to bed and stop playing around online on nappy sites!
